Shyam Tattoo Academy offers a specialised workshop for those looking to pursue a career in tattooing. Our intensive programme focuses on hands-on, in-studio training, giving students the knowledge, practical experience, and confidence needed to safely begin their tattooing journey while adhering to professional health and safety standards.

Throughout the 5-day intensive workshop, you will learn the step-by-step process of preparing and carrying out a tattoo safely. This includes skin preparation and disinfection, stencil application, and in-depth guidance on linework, shading, and fundamental tattooing techniques. We also cover needle sizes and configurations, helping you understand which setups are best suited for different styles, designs, and effects.

You will be guided through the full setup and breakdown of a professional tattoo workstation, with a strong focus on hygiene and safe working practices. Training also includes the operation of tattoo machines, covering voltage control, hand speed, and depth, along with support in designing tattoos and creating clean, accurate stencils.

Working on synthetic skin using professional tattoo machines, you will gain hands-on experience with different inks, pigments, and supplies. This allows you to explore techniques and build confidence while experiencing what it’s like to work within a real studio environment.

By the end of the course, you will have developed the foundational skills and knowledge to take the first steps into your tattooing career.
